Things to Do at Uluwatu in the Morning

1. Breakfast with Nasi Ayam

   

When visiting Uluwatu in the morning, taking a breakfast is one good thing to do before starting your day tour.

You can visit “Warung Nasi Ayam Kedewatan” as a place to take breakfast. It is a local restaurant at main road of Uluwatu and is opened starting from 08.00 to 19.00.

The restaurant provides some Balinese cuisine as one of them is Nasi Ayam (Chicken Rice).

Nasi Ayam consists of white rice, seasoned chicken, egg slice, sambal (sauce), and sate (seasoned, skewered, and grilled meat with a sauce). All are made with Balinese special spices.

2. Visiting Suluban Beach

   

After having a breakfast, you continue to go visiting Suluban Beach (also known as Blue Point Beach) where is approximately 2 kilometer north from Uluwatu Temple.

The visitors will not be charged an entrance fee here, only a parking fee. The beach feature white sands, clear blue water, beautiful cliff surrounds, and good waves for the surfers.

Before seeing all those, the visitor must go down stairs (200 meters) from parking area to the beach.

Along route, you may also get through into a gap between cliffs that is called “Mesulub” in Balinese Language, as the origin of the beach name.
